رغم اقتراب السد من اللقب وتغييرات المراكز.. الصراع مفتوح في دوري نجوم…

ولا يزال الصراع مفتوحا بدوري نجوم بنك الدوحة رغم الوصول الى المحطة الأخيرة اول أمس والتي شهدت نتائج لم تحسم الأمور والصراع والمنافسة بشكل نهائي وفي جميع الجبهات.
وسيظل الصراع مفتوحا حتى نهاية المباراتين المؤجلتين اللتين تجمع العربي مع السيلية، والشمال مع قطر والمقرر اقامتهما الاثنين القادم، وأيضا حتى نهاية الجولة الثانية والعشرين والأخيرة المقرر اقامتها 28 الجاري.
الجولة الحادية والعشرون شهدت نتائج مثيرة كان أبرزها سقوط الشمال امام الشحانية في اكبر مفاجآت الجولة، بالإضافة الى فوز الأهلي على الدحيل، والتفوق الكبير للريان على ام صلال، والتعادل المثير بين الغرافة والوكرة 3-3 وفوز السد على السيلية والتعادل المخيب للامال بين قطر والعربي 1-1.
صراع الصدارة واللقب اقترب لكنه لم يحسم الى الان بشكل رسمي، وقد يكون السد هو الأقرب بعد ان رفع رصيده الى 42 نقطة ووسع الفارق بينه وبين الشمال الى 5 نقاط.
ورغم المباراة المؤجلة للشمال مع قطر، الا ان مباراته مع السد في الجولة الأخيرة هي التي تحسم الصراع بين الفريقين، ولو فاز الشمال على قطر وحقق المفاجأة وهزم السد سيتوج بطلا للمرة الأولى في تاريخه.
لكن من المؤكد ان السد لن يترك الفرصة تفلت من بين يديه، وسيقاتل عليها بشدة ويحسمها في الجولة الأخيرة بغض النظر عن نتائج الشمال.
ما يزيد من حدة الصراع وعدم حسمه أيضا الشكوى التي تقدم بها الشمال الى محكمة التحكيم الرياضي للمطالبة بنتيجة مباراته مع السيلية نتيجة اعتراض الشمال على مشاركة الارجنتيني ناني ماتيس رغم حصوله على 4 بطاقات صفراء، ولو عدلت المحكمة النتيجة فان الشمال قد يصبح هو البطل، لذلك الصراع لايزال مفتوحا حتى الجولة الأخيرة.
نتائج الجولة لم تتسبب في أي تغيير على الصدارة، لكنها اسفرت عن تغيير مهم في مركزي الريان والغرافة، فالريان الذي هزم ام صلال بثلاثية انتزع بهم المركز الثالث برصيد 35 نقطة، ولو سارت النتائج كما يريد في الجولة الأخيرة ربما نراه في مركز الوصيف.
اما الغرافة فقد تراجع من الصدارة الى الوصافة والان وصل الى المركز الرابع برصيد 35 نقطة بفارق الأهداف عن الريان.

صراع المربع
ورغم فقد العربي وقطر نقطتين غاليتين بتعادلهما 1-1، الا ان حظوظهما لاتزال قائمة في التأهل الى المربع، أولا لامتلاكهما مباراتين مؤجلتين، وثانيا لتفوق العربي تحديدا في فارق الأهداف، وهو يعني ان العربي لو تساوى في النقاط مع الغرافة سترجح كفته الأهداف وقد يتواجد في المركز الرابع، بينما رصيد قطر من الأهداف لايكفي مثل العربي.
وفي المقابل فقد الدحيل حظوظه رسميا للتأهل الى المربع الذهبي بخسارته امام الأهلي بهدفين، وكذلك الوكرة الذي دفع الثمن غاليا للخطأ الإداري الذي وقع فيه وتسبب في اعتباره مهزوما امام قطر وبالتالي فقد أيضا الموج الأزرق رسميا حظوظ التأهل للمربع الذهبي.

معركة البقاء والهبوط
وفي معركة البقاء والهبوط ضمن الأهلي الهروب من الهبوط المباشر بانتصاره على الدحيل، وضمن أيضا الى حد كبير ولو بفارق الأهداف الابتعاد عن المباراة الفاصلة بعد ارتفاع رصيده الى 23 نقطة بفارق 3 نقاط عن ام صلال والشحانية اللذين يحتلان المركزين العاشر والحادي عشر ليظل الاثنين رهن المباراة الفاصلة الا اذا انتزعا الانتصار في الجولة الأخيرة.
ويبقى السيلية وحيدا في القاع وفي المركز الأخير برصيد 19 نقطة، ومع ذلك فلديه امل في المباراة المؤجلة وفي المباراة الأخيرة بالدوري لو فاز بهما قد ينجو من الهبوط المباشر.

Berlin: Bundesliga club Union Berlin on Sunday named Marie-Louise Eta as head coach, making her the first female manager of a men's team in a top-five European league, after former mentor Steffen Baumgart was sacked.

"I am delighted the club has entrusted me with this challenging task," Eta said in a statement.

"One of Union's strengths has always been our ability to pull together in such situations. And of course, I'm convinced that we'll get the points we need with this team."

Eta became the first female assistant coach in Bundesliga history when she was promoted to the role in 2023.

Never before has a men's top-flight club in Germany, England, Spain, Italy or France -- considered the top-five European leagues -- appointed a woman in the head coach role.

Eta's first match in the dugout is on Saturday when Union host struggling Wolfsburg.

Baumgart was sacked early on Sunday morning after the club's form flatlined in the second-half of the season, with Saturday's 3-1 defeat at last-placed Heidenheim the final straw.

A fan favourite who spent two seasons at the club as a player, Baumgart took over as coach at the beginning of 2025 and helped Union stay in the Bundesliga with a 13th-placed finish.

The coach took Union close to the European spots at the end of 2025 but the club have won just two games since Christmas and sit seven points above the relegation play-off spot with five games to play.

"We've had an absolutely disappointing second-half of the season," sporting director Horst Held said in a statement.

"Our situation remains precarious and we desperately need points to stay in the league.

"The performances in recent weeks don't give us the confidence we could turn things around with the current set-up."

As a player, Eta won the women's Champions League in 2010 with Turbine Potsdam - she was an unused substitute in the final against Lyon - along with three Bundesliga titles.

She retired at the age of 26 to start coaching, first with Werder Bremen youth teams before taking on a similar role at the German FA (DFB).

She has already committed to take over Union Berlin's women's Bundesliga team, who are playing their first season in the top-flight this campaign, from summer.

Women have managed men's football teams in the lower divisions but never in the top flight.

German third tier Ingolstadt FC are currently coached by Sabrina Wittmann, who became the first female coach of a professional men's team when appointed to the position in 2024.

French second-flight club Clermont were managed by Corinne Diacre for three seasons until 2017, until she left to take over the French women's national team.

Doha: Al Arabi secured a commanding 81-65 win over Al Sadd to advance to the semi-finals of the Qatar Basketball Cup for the 2025-2026 season, at Al Gharafa Hall yesterday.

The result completes the semi-final lineup for the 13th edition of the tournament.

Al Arabi set the tone early. They controlled the opening quarter with tight defense and fast transitions, taking a 25-19 lead. Al Sadd responded in the second period, improving their shooting and cutting errors to edge the quarter 18-13 and reduce the gap.

The game turned decisively in the third quarter. Al Arabi dominated both ends of the floor, controlling the paint and applying constant defensive pressure. They outscored Al Sadd 30-11 in a one-sided stretch that effectively settled the contest.

Al Sadd showed some resistance in the final quarter, winning it 17-13, but the deficit proved too large to overcome. Al Arabi closed out the game comfortably to confirm their place in the semi-finals.

Dejan Janic led all scorers with 26 points for Al Sadd, delivering a strong individual performance. For Al Arabi, Bahraini player Mustafa Hussain “Mosti” contributed 20 points and played a key role during crucial phases of the game.

Abdulrahman Abdelhalim was named Best Qatari Player of the Match.

In the semi-finals, Al Wakrah will face Al Shamal, while Al Arabi take on Al Rayyan.
