Manchester United results and Premier League form

Manchester United’s early Premier League results have been mixed. The side lost 2–0 at Hull City, beat Ipswich Town 5–2, drew 2–2 at Everton and lost 1–0 to Manchester City in the opening four league matches. The opening run shows why United need to improve consistency as the campaign progresses.

United’s league position will change as further matches are played. Points, goal difference and results against direct rivals all affect the standings, while individual match reports provide the details behind each outcome. The second matchweek featured United’s Ipswich win alongside results elsewhere in the league.

Summer transfers and Manchester United squad

Manchester United confirmed midfield additions Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos during the summer, while the current UEFA squad also lists Carlos Baleba. Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte give Carrick further midfield options, although selection and availability can change from match to match. The squad’s balance matters as United manage fixtures in England and Europe.

Further forward, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Šeško are among the attacking players listed in the current squad. Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martínez and Diogo Dalot are defensive options, with Senne Lammens among the goalkeepers. Exact starting lineups belong on confirmed team-sheet pages, not in a fixed season overview.

Michael Carrick and United’s tactical approach

Michael Carrick leads Manchester United into his first full Premier League season as permanent manager. The squad’s midfield changes give him different combinations for controlling possession, recovering the ball and connecting with the forwards. How those options work together across league and European fixtures will be a recurring theme of the campaign.

Against teams that defend deep, United need to create chances without leaving space behind their attacking players. Against opponents that press aggressively, moving the ball through midfield becomes just as important. The exact approach and team selection should be judged from confirmed matches and Carrick’s own comments rather than assumed in advance.

Premier League competition and Champions League commitments

The Premier League season brings Manchester United into contact with Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, as well as clubs whose priorities may differ across the campaign. The wider title race, European qualification places and relegation picture depend on results over 38 matches, not on an early-season prediction. United’s own performance against a range of opponents will determine where the club finishes.

United are also competing in the UEFA Champions League during 2026/27, increasing the importance of rotation and recovery. European fixtures add another set of competitive demands alongside domestic matches. The European competition has its own format, calendar and qualification rules.

Fulham FC overview and club history

Fulham Football Club was founded in 1879 and is based in west London. Known as the Cottagers, the club has played at Craven Cottage on the banks of the Thames since 1896. Its long history includes periods in the top flight, promotions and memorable cup runs.

Fulham compete in the Premier League and host visiting clubs at one of English football’s best-known grounds. Chelsea are their west London neighbours, while meetings with other established Premier League sides remain important fixtures in the calendar. For the wider competition picture, see our Premier League 2026/27 season guide.

Fulham lost 1–0 at Sunderland on 30 August and 3–2 at home to Crystal Palace on 5 September. These are confirmed early-season results as of 18 September 2026, not an automatically updated form table.

Fulham squad and key players for 2026/27

Fulham’s 2026/27 registered squad includes Bernd Leno, Joachim Andersen, Calvin Bassey, Antonee Robinson, Alex Iwobi and Rodrigo Muniz. Tom Cairney and Sander Berge also provide midfield experience, while Oscar Bobb offers options in attack. The exact matchday squad can change with selection and player availability.

Hugo Larsson joined from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2026, giving Fulham another central-midfield option. Bobb had arrived from Manchester City earlier in the year, adding a player who can operate across the forward line. Those confirmed additions provide more useful squad context than general claims about unverified summer transfer plans.

Fulham manager and playing approach

Álvaro Arbeloa was appointed Fulham head coach in July 2026. He arrived after coaching in Real Madrid’s youth system and with Castilla, bringing a new direction to the first team. His selections and approach will become clearer as the season progresses, so this page does not claim an unverified fixed formation.

Fulham’s performance will depend on how well the squad combines defensive organisation with chances created by its midfielders and forwards. The goalless draw at Liverpool showed the team could earn a result away from home after a difficult opening run. Further tactical conclusions should be based on confirmed matches rather than predictions about what Fulham will do next.

Premier League outlook and how to follow Fulham

Fulham will face established Premier League clubs as well as teams returning from the Championship during the 2026/27 season. League position, goal difference and points change after each round, so a permanent club page should not present an undated standings snapshot as current. Fulham’s next opponents and confirmed results are better followed through the fixtures and live-data pages.

Team Yandex adds TI champion ATF to 2026-2027 roster

Team Yandex announced on 17 September that it has signed Ammar “ATF” Assaf as its new offlaner, replacing Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, who has been moved to the inactive roster.

ATF joins as a free agent following Team Falcons’ exit from competitive Dota 2 earlier this month. He was a key figure in the Falcons lineup that played 799 games together as a five-man unit, the most of any roster in the game’s history, winning 523 of those matches for a 65.46% win rate. ATF is the second former Falcons player to land with a new organisation since the shutdown, following Oliver “Skiter” Lepko’s move to Aurora Gaming.

A Second TI Champion on the Books

ATF’s arrival gives Yandex two The International champions on its books, pairing the TI 2025 winner with TI 2022 champion Martin “Saksa” Sazdov. The confirmed 2026-2027 roster now reads:

  • Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov
  • Ilya “CHIRA_JUNIOR” Chirtsov
  • Ammar “ATF” Assaf
  • Martin “Saksa” Sazdov
  • Arman “Malady” Orazbayev

Building on a Third-Place TI 2026 Finish

Yandex entered the Dota 2 scene in June 2025 and quickly grew into one of its strongest teams, winning three Tier 1 tournaments and finishing in the top three at six others during the 2025-2026 season, according to GosuGamers. At TI 2026, the side recovered from a slow group stage to reach the top three, falling to eventual champions Team Spirit in the lower-bracket final — a run that continues a broader trend of roster churn covered in Esports Insider’s recent Dota 2 recap and pre-International roster coverage.

What’s Next?

Yandex is set to debut its new-look lineup at PGL Wallachia Season 9, the first Tier 1 tournament of the 2026-2027 season, which begins on 19 September. ATF himself acknowledged the switch in comments reported by cyber.sports.ru, confirming he will play under the Yandex banner at the event.

AS Monaco : Hradecky – Vanderson, Sané, Dier, Nazinho – Diop, Camara, Zakaria, Golovin – Brunner, Abline.

RC Lens : Risser – Antonio, Todibo, Udol – Aguilar, Haidara, Cuisance, Kadile – Thauvin, Mesloub, Sima.

  • Gardiens de but : Malvin Mastil (FC Lausanne-Sport, Suisse) – Abdelatif Ramdane (MC Alger) – Kilian Bellazoug (Stade Rennais FC, France).
  • Défenseurs : Achraf Abada (USM Alger) – Rayan Aït Nouri (Manchester City, Angleterre) – Zinedine Belaïd (Al-Taawoun FC, Arabie Saoudite) – Ramy Bensebaïni (Borussia Dortmund, Allemagne) – Samir Chergui (Paris FC, France) – Jaouen Hadjam (Brighton FC, Angleterre) – Sohaïb Naïr (AS Saint-Etienne, France) – Saâdi Radouani (USM Alger) – Ahmed Touba (Le Havre AC, France).
  • Milieux de terrain : Himed Abdelli (Olympique Marseille, France) – Adil Aouchiche (FC Schalke 04, Allemagne) – Nabil Bentaleb (LOSC Lille, France) – Farès Chaïbi (Eintracht Francfort, Allemagne) – Ibrahim Maza (Bayer Leverkusen, Allemagne) – Adem Zorgane (Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, Belgique).
  • Attaquants : Mohamed Amine Amoura (OGC Nice, France) – Moncef Bakrar (Al-Ahly SC, Egypte) – Mohamed Bachir Belloumi (Hull City FC, Angleterre) – Adil Boulbina (Diriyah CF, Arabie Saoudite) – Amin Chiakha (Rosenberg BK, Danemark) – Amine Gouiri (Olympique de Marseille, France) – Anis Hadj Moussa (Feyenoord Rotterdam, Pays-Bas) – Ilan Kebbal (Paris FC, France).
