The Philadelphia Eagles announced their seven captains for the upcoming season on Friday, led by quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back Saquon Barkley, receiver DeVonta Smith, tackles Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata, linebacker Zack Baun, and defensive tackle Jordan Davis were named captains. DeVonta Smith replaces A.J. Brown, while Davis replaces Reed Blankenship.

The team features five offensive and two defensive captains this year, marking the first time since 2025 that they have no special teams leaders. Davis is the only first-time captain, while Hurts earns the honor for a fifth consecutive season. sports24.club
