Monken Praises Watson Ahead of First Start

Todd Monken expressed confidence in Deshaun Watson's preparation as the Browns quarterback prepares to make his first start in nearly two years. Watson won the QB competition over Shedeur Sanders and has been taking all first-team snaps, which Monken believes has helped Watson get more comfortable with the offensive concepts.

Despite fan discontent over Watson remaining the starter, the Browns QB faces a challenging matchup against a Jaguars defense that ranked eighth in points allowed and eleventh in yards allowed last season. Watson's task may be complicated further by Cleveland's offensive line featuring rookies at left tackle and right guard. saltysenoritaaz.org
